ECOOP 2027
Mon 28 June - Fri 2 July 2027 Turin, Italy

Call for Workshop Proposals

The workshops at ECOOP 2027 are the place for academics and practitioners to meet in focused groups to present and discuss ideas, problems, and experiences in topics related to programming languages, software development, systems and applications.

All workshops will run on the days prior to the conference (Monday June 28th and Tuesday June 29th, 2027).

ECOOP is in cooperation with the ACM. For the workshops that want to have their proceedings published in the ACM digital library, we will arrange their publication.

To submit a proposal for an ECOOP 2027 workshop, please send an email to the workshop chair with the information listed below. After submission, you will receive an email confirmation. Accepted workshops will be notified latest by October 15th, 2026. Since space is limited, please submit your proposals as early as possible.

Please contact the ECOOP 2027 Workshop Chair if you have any questions.

Workshop proposals should be sent as a pdf and contain the following information:

  1. Title and acronym of the workshop and its relevance to ECOOP.
  2. A brief abstract specifying the goals and theme of the workshop.
  3. In case the workshop has been held before, information of the most recent edition (e.g., year, associated conference, approximate attendance numbers) and link(s) to the webpage(s) of the previous edition(s).
  4. Planned format of the workshop (e.g., presentations of peer-reviewed papers, invited speakers only, working groups).
  5. Expected duration of the workshop (from half a day to two days) and expected number of participants.
  6. Indicate whether the workshop proceedings should be published in ACM’s DL.
  7. Name, affiliation, email address, and webpage of each workshop organiser. Indicate any constraints with respect to date or time (e.g., an organiser who’s involved in more than one workshop proposal).
